My journey with video started back in middle school when I decided that I wanted to film some awesome lightning. So I got to it and spent hours upon hours of my childhood filming thunderstorms every summer (and a few in the winter). That was well over 2 decades ago, and now I've spent the last 12 years working in video, audio, and even theatrical productions! My work can tell you about my interests; I like politics and nature, but I'm always ready to work on all sorts of productions that come my way.
Currently, I am the Managing Producer at NewTV, overseeing the Community, Government, and Education channels and departments. In this role, I manage a wide range of studio and field productions, expand and support NewTV’s live streaming capabilities, train members, maintain strong relationships with Newton’s institutions, and supervise our talented full-time and part-time staff. I also contribute to Newton News, the city’s longest-running news program, by producing and covering stories as a news photographer.
And finally, I assist our Director of Operations with facility equipment maintenance and upgrades.
I am thankful and proud to be an award-winning videographer and editor, and I am currently working on becoming an award-winning photographer!
